Provincetown Community Compact Celebrates Its Stories

Compact artists, dune shack residents, activists, swimmers and dreamers will share their stories as participants in the organization's singular projects.

Storytellers include:

Jackie Saltalamacchia, Native American dune shack residency, member of the Wampanoag Herring Pond Tribe in Plymouth

Ernie Martin, Think-ubator project, Boy Next Door productions, directing a documentary about HIV/AIDS in Provincetown

Marian Roth, artist and participant in dune shack residency, Herring Cove Bathhouse project (Ten Days That Shook the World) and the Meadows Motel project

Diana Souza, volunteer with Lily House, beneficiary of the Swim for Life

Ngina Lythcott, school committee member, Provincetown Schools dune shack residency, Swim for Life beneficiary; Think-ubator projects: Tim McCarthy Human Rights Champion Awardee 2023 and Juneteenth organizer

Summer of Sass, a Think-ubator project that became a non-profit; speaker to be announced.

The Compact is celebrating its 31st year, offering residents the opportunity to realize a creative or community project through our Think-ubator Program, to stay in a dune shack, to inscribe a Prayer Ribbon and to participate in the Swim for Life (#37 - September 7, 2024).
