Dozen Studio Gallery

Opening Spring 2024, DOZEN STUDIO GALLERY is a unique studio gallery experience located at 142 Commercial Street in Provincetown’s upscale West End. Showcasing contemporary coastal paintings that connect people to a memory, experience, or place. DOZEN will also be home to resident studio artist Keith MacLelland, who will be sharing his process while making art daily on site. Catering to a diverse range of customers and budgets, DOZEN STUDIO GALLERY will offer select local and national artisan-made works that will be readily available for purchase in-person and online.

About our resident studio artist Keith MacLelland, he grew up on Cape Cod and currently lives in Wellfleet with his wife, teenage daughter, three cats and dog named Buoy. His contemporary coastal paintings connect people to memories, experiences, and places. MacLelland’s palette is dominated by saturated colors that echo the brightly painted buoys that bob atop the ebb and flow of ocean waves. And MacLelland is no stranger to the gallery world; he is the former co-owner of famed Longstreet Gallery in Eastham. Longstreet was a mecca for the Outer Cape and Southern New England creative community. MacLelland is also a former Professor and Department Chair of Illustration at Lesley Art + Design in Cambridge.
